Sustainability Commitment

At Snug, sustainability is incorporated into what we do every single day and we work to our values of being ethical and responsible in what we do. For us, sustainability is a mindset. It is compassion for the earth. It is random acts of kindness.

We are committed to continuing to improve our awareness and that of our staff and our partners, so together, we can be fully conscious of our actions on the natural world.

We only work with suppliers who are also committed, like us and working towards helping conserving our natural resources.

As a small business, we know there is still lots more work to be done and we are constantly looking at ways in which we can improve.

We are now offering a BRING IT BACK SCHEME which means that if you return your candle glasses, these will be re-used and we will offer a discount off your next purchase.

We wanted to share with you what we are doing so far:

• We re-use all our boxes that our product is delivered in, to then send out product to our shops/hotels etc
• We use plastic free brown tape and fragile tape
• We use Eco bubble wrapping and other fully recyclable packaging for our products
• We offer refills for our reed diffusers
• Our toiletry bottles are made from biopolymer which is sugar cane based and is fully recyclable, as are our lids and pumps
• We re-use/refill candle glasses that are returned to us
• We give an option on our website to choose not to have a box with product and instead we will plant trees

Our future plans:

• We are looking at getting our very own “team Snug” fully electric car which will be used for deliveries wherever possible, reducing our carbon footprint.
• Each month, we will be donating a percentage of our profits to various re-wilding projects throughout the UK
